What is data recovery? and Why?
- The purpose of data recovery is to create access to deleted, lost, damage, and inaccessible files. We provide service in the recovery of logical data and to extend Physical data.
Logical data recovery: It deals with non-mechanical issues, and relies on recovery application for the below instances
- Self-inflected i.e. accidental deletion or formating
- External factor i.e. file corruption, driver issue
Recovery supports and charges are as below:
- Logical data recovery from all types of SD cards, Internal / Eternal hard drive, and flash drives (Here onward to be referred to as an asset)
Service charges and condition
- Hardware must be in working condition
- Online drive inspection charges of Rs 200 INR (Non-refundable) is applicable to confirm if recovery is possible to initiate shipping of asset
- Owner to bear the to and fro courier/delivery/shipping charges and safety of asset in and during transit as the same packaging will be used to send back the asset
- Asset owner recovered data will be copied in asst owner provided safe drive which should be sent along with recovery drive.
- Health status of safe drive ownership remains with the asset owner.
- No data recovery will be performed on the recovery drive if the safe drive is missing and the drive will be courier back to the owner.
- Data recovery charges as follows
- 2 GB: 500 Rs INR
- 5 GB: 750 Rs INR
- 10 GB: 1000 Rs INR
- Rs 500 INR per 10 GB will be charged for recovery, post-recovery of 10 GB charges as applicable above for data recovery up to 100 GB
i.e. (10 GB +(1*10 GB)) = (1000 + (1*500)) = 1500 INR up to 100 GB.
- Rs 1000 INR per 100 GB will be charged for recovery, post-recovery of 100 GB charges as applicable above for data recovery
Physical data recovery: It deals with a mechanical issue, required to be performed in dust-free labs
- The arrangement for the Donar drive to facilitate the recovery has to be arranged by the asset owner before initiating the data recovery.
- Mechanical Handling charges of Rs 1000 INR will be charged additionally to recovery and other charges
General Terms and Conditions of recovery
- Above charges are for personal data recovery only.
- Above charges will be double for enterprise data recovery
- All the charges are to be paid in advance and as communicated before initiation of recovery services at each level
- Data recovery charges will be applicable only on confirmation of recovery of data
- Data will be deleted post confirmation of owner or 4 days post-recovery whichever is earlier
- All asset will be courier back to the same address post-completion of successful/failed recovery and as per communication
- We do not take ownership of what so every data been recovered, the end responsibility remains with the owner of the asset who couriers the asset for recovery
- RS 500 INR will be required to be paid in advance for return courier/shipping/delivery charges for data and asset post-recovery. Any additional courier/shipping/delivery cost will be adjusted with data recovery charges.
- Data and Asset holding charges of Rs 100 INR per day will be applicable from the 4th day onwards of data recovery if communicated.
- Email communication will be initiated for legal understanding and ownership defining of data before data recovery to avoid later legal complications
